Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD) organized a painting exhibition on the eve of Pakistan Day. Prof. Hina Tayyaba Khalil, Vice Chancellor PIFD, faculty members and a large number of students visited the exhibition. The purpose of the exhibition was to highlight the sacrifices of our forefathers for the creation of Pakistan. Students participated in the exhibition with full zeal and fervor and displayed paintings depicting different aspects of Pakistan movement. The students also paid homage to the prominent leaders of the struggle for independence. The Vice Chancellor PIFD distributed certificates among all participants. On the occasion she said, such exhibitions should be held regularly to commemorate our elders who had struggled for a separate homeland for Muslims of the subcontinent. These events also remind us of the value of liberty, she added. Meanwhile, a declamation contest was also held on the occasion of Pakistan Day. Students enthusiastically participated in the competition.
